Removing central walls whilst maintaining the existing functional layout, connected lines of sight through a small apartment and allowed light and air to penetrate deeply. Reflection, shadow and bounced light offer warmth, intimacy, calm and contemplation. Materials were selected whose natural qualities would be highlighted by their expert installation and construction or be beautiful in appearance.
